Futuristic Science Fiction-Based Virtual Reality Game

Project LUX combines an immersive plot with anime-inspired graphics in order to lure the player into its intriguing storyline. Fans of science fiction and mystery genres should be quite captivated by this game.

Plot and Gameplay

Project LUX takes place in a future defined by humans who have been equipped with "cyber brains". A young girl names Lux is a murder victim and it is the responsibility of the player to reconstruct her digital memories in order to solve the crime and to bring her assailant(s) to justice. As opposed to some other VR games which are considered to be controlled by the actions of the user, this platform is primarily influenced by a linear story. Interesting discoveries will occur along the way (much like the plot of a film).

Amazing Graphics and Personalized Interaction

The graphics associated with Project LUX have been heavily influenced by anime artists and the inclusion of smooth background lines tends to accentuate the on-screen characters. It is possible to converse with these personalities and this is often required in order to progress to more challenging levels.

PROS

  • The addition of a VR headset dramatically enhances the first-person perspective.
  • Most players are very impressed by the smooth graphics and the detailed backgrounds.

CONS

  • Some of the forced perspectives can appear odd at times.
  • Many users feel that the price of this game is needlessly high.
